Subject: Help,  can't find recycling centers

Hi,

   My name is Shelly and I am a stay at home mother of 3 small children under the age of 5 and it seems like we go thru countless numbers of juice bottles,milk,yogurt applesauce cups and countless other household items that are plastic. I have been trying to save all of these recycleable items as a way for my children to earn some small change(to put in their piggy bank and away to save up to get some second handbooks). My problem is......I live in the Atlanta area and can't seem to find any recycling drop off centers in my area that accept plastic household items bottles. The only places I seem to find are places that want scrap metal. I'm looking for a place that is willing to pay my children for plastics and newspaper. Again, I would truly appreciate if you could help me out. I've already looked in my phone book and called people who said that they accept plastics and paper and pay cash for them....only to find out that they are accepting scrap metal materials.
