Dear Connie Leung,
There are recycled composites used to make furniture of
- plastics (PVC and PET)
- plastic (PVC alone) reinforced with metals or aggregates
- plastics and wood
- new materials developed from lightweight ceramics and plastics
The most well known recent venture in making furniture was by Boro Bronx 2000 which made it from wooden pallets.
