Dear Pat Keenan,

You can get printouts from this website, I believe, but I don't know the technique. Other comprehensive sources of information on many of these subjects is the US EPA website (www.epa.gov) with the SEARCH function and the RCRA Hotline for multiple copies of waste management documents by US EPA (tel: 800-424-9346).

Corn already produces many surprising and degradable products, from edible dishes and cutlery to solvents. Most recent to gain attention has been ethanol. The websites of many state and national Corn Producers Assns. can tell you much more.

Forget about waste disposal in space. No one is working on it and even if economical, it would not be desireable.
